Joanna works to strengthen and manage a complex role supporting Michelle Costanzo, managing the North and South clinics of Mindset Synergy.

A graduate from the University of Queensland, Joanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Studies in Religion, and has undergone further study in developing and maintaining quality service outcomes, housing management and policy, marriage education, and accounting.

Joanna has a practical and passionate understanding of the social and care provision sectors, and has also completed an Associate Diploma of Social Science and holds trained qualifications in Youth Mental Health First Aid.

The majority of Joanna Brodsky’s background lies primarily within the social services sector for organisations such as Teen Challenge, Anglicare, Silky Oaks Children’s Haven, Mercy Family Services, Foundations Care and Flexible Living. Joanna has also clocked ten years’ experience in church leadership and volunteer work, teaching young people and children as a focus.

Joanna also boasts ten years of high level administration experience and five years of financial administration experience. Her work has involved tender and grant writing and liaison with various agencies including government departments, having adopted a deep and well-practiced knowledge of the processes and procedures associated.

Project management is an area of expertise for Joanna also. Her breadth of understanding for both corporate and grass roots levels of the Australian social services sector is unique, also bringing to the role four years of hands-on experience in assisting both young people and families with housing and other related issues in areas such as finances, mental health, child protection, substance misuse.

Overall, Joanna’s is most passionate about, and has illustrated a successful and skilled background working with people with mental health issues due to her past occupational stints in the homelessness sector and working with children and young people in need.
